I have been recommending the BMS 4550 for a long time...in addition to sounding good it can survive in pro use...

And it doesn't have a titanium fram!

The BMS neo coax with 1.4 throat is pretty wonderful too...if I were ten years younger...my entire PA would be those with 4550 on monitors..

Tom Danley talks of reducing phase shift through the crossover region by several hundreds of degrees. Anybody happen to have any info on the crossover he proposed?

Didn't see this originally, but assuming it was by wiring the HF horn positive, then properly offsetting the HF horn to match [proper time and phase alignment].
